This year’s free Pokemon giveaway continues, and this month is stacked with the little monsters!
As most pokemon fans are aware this year is the franchises 20th anniversary, to celebrate Nintendo are giving away rare pokemon each month through to the end of the year. You can get these free Mythical Pokemon for Pokemon X/Y or Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire. May’s offering is a level 100 Darkrai, a Dark-type Pokemon that comes equipped with the Dark Void, Ominous Wind, Nightmare, and Feint Attack moves. Darkrai is free to claim from now through May 24. To get yours, you’ll have to visit a participating GameStops in the U.S or GAME here in the UK.
But on top of that Nintendo is also distributing a level 100 Zygarde using the “Mystery Gift” option and more importantly shiny versions of both Xerneas and Yveltal, the cover stars for Pokemon X and Pokemon Y. This is the only legit way to get these shiny Pokemon so don’t miss out!
Unfortunatly it has not been confirmed if the PAL regions will have access to all of these super rare pokemon. At the time of writing i have downloaded my Zygarde so that is 100% available. North American trainers can then get their Shiny Xerneas from May 11th through May 17th. The Shiny Yveltal will run from May 20th through May 26th.
