It looks like the title for Star Wars Episode 8 has been leaked. A video has surfaced online showing a poster from what appears to be Star Wars Celebration 2016.
The title shown is ‘Star Wars: Fall of the Resistance’, which has the same connotations as the original second film ‘The Empire Strikes back’.
The footage itself looks real and if this is a fake it’s very well done. No doubt some heads will roll if this is an early leak but only time will tell.
Hopefully this trilogy doesn’t become just a retread of the og trilogy
I was thinking the same. It seems they’re following the same formula where the empire comes out on top.
maybe that’s just what they want us to think, this one is all about how Kylo is broken by his defeat
I was happy enough with Force Awakens being so similar to get people back on board with Star Wars after the prequels but i dont want it all to be the same
I agree, they’ve had their greatest hits movie to show that they understand the franchise and what we want as fans. Time to go do something interesting with it now
