A new trailer for the hotly anticipated adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s novel ‘American Gods’ has been released online. Adapted for the Starz network by Bryan Fuller and Michael Green’s American Gods brings the incredible fantasy novel to TV.
In American Gods, gods and mythological creatures can exist because people believe in them but the power of these has diminished as people’s beliefs wane. New gods have arisen, reflecting America’s obsessions with media, celebrity, technology, and drugs, among other things. A recently released ex-convict named Shadow meets a mysterious man who calls himself “Wednesday” and who knows more than he first seems to about Shadow’s life and past.

American Gods stars Gillian Anderson, Yetide Badaki, Emily Browning, Dane Cook, Bruce Langley, Cloris Leachman and Ian McShane and is expected to hit our screen next year.
