Regardless of where you stood in the 2016 historical referendum, the vote has produced something we can all be thankful for. Due to the declining value of the pound following the leave vote, plans to make Mrs. Brown’s Boys D’Movie 2 are in trouble.
In a recent interview with The Sun, the show’s creator and Mrs. Brown himself, Brendan O’Carroll said:
“We were planning to do it this year but the numbers weren’t right. The plot and outline are there and ready to go, We know what’s going to happen and how we’re going to do it”.
Fans of the original movie, which made £20 million at the box office, will have to hope the pound gets stronger if they have any hope of seeing a sequel. The rest of us can keep our fingers crossed the movie dies a quiet death.
I knew leaving would save us lol
