The Co-creator of PlayStation’s original TV series Powers has announced that the superhero show has been cancelled…well, for now anyway.
this is hard to tweet, but word is that @POWERStheSERIES is sadly, no more. season 2 was the last. at least for now. 1/2

Powers has currently run for 2 seasons on the PlayStation Network and starred Sharlto Copley as Christian Walker, formerly known as Diamond, a detective in the Powers Division. Christian was once a superhero with the ability to fly who went by the name of Diamond. However, his powers were later taken from him by his previous mentor, Wolfe. Now Christian uses his experience to help the Powers Division stop destructive Powers.
The show was first announced at E3 2014 and then aired in March of 2015. Powers managed to run for 2 seasons featuring 10 episodes each, but now it looks like PlayStation’s attempt at original programming has ended. However, co-creator Brian Bendis did end his tweet with a little caveat stating it was the end “for now” so if you’re a fan you may see more yet just on a different network.
