Part 2 of the greatest collaboration of the year. We’ve another very beer filled two hours for you. Don’t worry it doesn’t affect our ability to be eloquent, concise and stay on topic at all. But we drink more, more than we’ve ever drank before on the show.
We start with the board games Ben has recently played and Dickie and Kit guess them, talk beer styles and Steve gets into his love of West Ham. Kit discusses the videogames he plays on the PS3 and Dickie talks local landmarks. Steve then gets into his videogaming and a lot of Rocket League talk. Sam’s laugh gets louder and louder. We discuss older board games like Atmosphere, Pokemon and Live action gaming / escape rooms. Then it’s a lot of beer talk. And Steve has a wee behind the shed.
We had 5 beers in part 1. Now we drink 10. ‘Ara Bier’ from De Dolle, Wild Weather’s ‘Don’t Pine For Me Apple Tina’, Cloudwater’s ‘Pilsner Mandarina Bavaria’ and the Magic Rock ‘Cherry Cola Vice’ start us off. We get traditional with the Langton Brewery ‘Inclined Plain’ and journey north with with the Northern Monk / Wylam ‘I Like to Moob it, Moob it’. We go back to Good Chemistry and drink ‘Steady State’. It’s back to collabs with the rainbow project Siren / Sante Adairius ‘Santa Del Firo’ and we almost drink but only sample the Partizan / The Kernel ‘Dual Runnings’. We finish with a quick Kwak from Brouwerij Bosteels and chat our favourite beers from the evening.
